Battle of the Bo-Tox Brands

There are now several brands of Botulinum toxin available for aesthetic practitioners to use.

Cosmeticnewsuk recently featured an articel about the evolution of botulinum toxin and the recent entrants into this market.

It's now a multi-million pound industry since its results were first discovered by Alistair and Jean Carruthers. Allegedly it took them 3 years to convince their colleuagues and peers of the uses for this, one of the most potent toxins known to man.

It was 2002 before Allergan reached the landmark of becoming the first company to achieve a cosmetic licence for the use of Botox in the treatment of glabellar lines in the US.

I won't go into detail about the various brands in this post but will list them below. More detailed information can be found via cosmeticnewsuk.com or their source theconsultingroom.com.

For treatment, you can contact http://www.dermalclinic.co.uk/botox-scotland.html.

And for training, if you are a doctor, nurse or dentist you can receive officially registered training from http://www.dermalclinic.co.uk/botox-training-courses-application.html

Julian Clary

The latest celeb who admitted to having botox is Julian Clary, the double-entendre-loving comedian. On Gordon Ramsay's Cook-a-Long Live broadcast last night Ramsay asked him, during a pre-recorded section, bluntly and received the equally blunt response 'Yes'. And that was that! It was clearly edited but no further comments about it were made.
Gordon's pretty wrinkled- do we think he might be considering?

According to botox-cosmetic-surgery.com these are among some celebs who've undergone treatment

Cher
Elizabeth Hurley
Geri Halliwell (a.k.a. Ginger Spice)
Joan Rivers
Kim Cattrall
Kylie Minogue
Madonna
Ryan Seacrest
Sylvester Stallone

Cher? Joan Rivers? Really??
Of course we've heard of some recent rumours about Trinny, aswell. Yes, the one who promotes accepting your body the way it is!!
However, it seems many celebs that are admired and idolised by millions are trying to retain their youth with botox. www.dermalclinic.co.uk

Simon Cowell Botox

In the August issue of the U.K.'s Glamour magazine, the barb-tongued American Idol judge cops to getting regular Botox injections. "To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste," the 48-year-old said. "It works, you do it once a year – who cares?"

He's also spoken about it on the BBC's Top Gear programme advising presenter Jeremy Clarkson to 'get some work done' as he looks so old (according to Cowell).

I know many celebrities have treatments. I wonder if they use http://www.dermalclinic.co.uk/botox-scotland.html ?
